Captain’s Log- 31 May 2010 – Non Flying Day

Medivac Patient for Uganda

Medivac patient for Uganda as Garret and I pray for her

No flying today but lots of work.  We fixed some things at one of our families’ houses before they arrived back from furlough and worked with one of the internet antennas for Medicine Sans Frontier.   Then Lu and I went out to meet Bettina, one of the SIL missionaries, who was coming in on the MAF plane from Uganda.  Waiting for the return flight to Uganda was an emergency evacuation patient with serious head injuries, in addition to many other problems, suffered in a motor vehicle accident.  After putting our hands on him and praying we were able to help transfer him into the plane.  The patient made it safely to Uganda and into hospital.
