Captain’s Log-3 November 2010- Tipped by Hippo

There is a new story under True Tales-Zimbabwe about a trip down the Zambezi River a while back.  Hope you enjoy it.

Captain’s Log – 2 November – After a long hard hot day filled with the frustrations that come with Congo I took off empty from Kisangani and climbed up to 11,500 feet.  I turned on the autopilot, took off my shoes, pushed the seat back and flipped on my mp3 player to listen to my friend Rick Booye from TCF.  That was nice.  It was a long flight but I got back in to Bunia about 10 minutes after the airport was supposed to close.  They had some UN flight training going on so they were still going and it was no problem.  A great end to the day.
